Shell Denester

The Sentry Shell Denester is designed to separate stacks of plastic beverage shells and feed individual shells onto a discharge conveyor. Pallet loads of plastic shells are loaded onto the system, which will then automatically sequence onto the pallet lift. 

 

 

An operator's console is provided with function buttons to control the Infeed Pallet System and Pallet Lift.

The Denester Infeed Conveyor conveys the stacks of shells to the Denesting Unit.

 

Pusher

Pusher

 A pneumatically-operated pusher will index the stacks of shells into the denesting chamber.

 

Shell Separation

Shell Separation

 The Denesting Unit is equipped with a compression stop and electrically driven metering belts.

 

Discharge Conveyor

Discharge Conveyor

 Shells are fed from the denesting unit onto the discharge conveyor.
